Artist Connie Kang recently presented a new illustration series in which she transforms animals into human characters.\n\n\n\n

Using photos as references, Kang tries to imagine how particular animals would look in their human form. She aims to combine both the physical features of animals and their personality traits into the final design, which has led to some unusual results.\n\n\n\n

For example, one of Kang\u2019s illustrations sees a Chrysilla jumping spider transformed into a nightclub DJ. Both are colorful and have an affinity for spinning; the spider for spinning its web, and DJ for spinning records.\u00a0\n\n\n\n
