Fabric isn\u2019t usually the first choice for an artist when they set their mind on creating landscape artwork. But that didn\u2019t stop UK-based textile artist Heidi Ingram from creating a series of beautiful embroidery landscapes that are capturing the attention of social media users.\n\n\n\n
Ingram started her textile art journey in 2008 when she learned the basics of stitching thanks to her mother. She began exploring different techniques but felt constrained by the traditional embroidery designs.\n\n\n\n
However, one day, everything changed. Ingram was sitting by her window with embroidery set in her hands when an idea came to her mind: capture the view through the window in textile. She enjoyed the freedom of expression and decided to continue making similar pieces after they were praised by her family and friends. \n\n\n\n
