Paintbrushes are integral to the art, but we rarely see them get the spotlight and often only witness their results. French artist Julien Durix decided to change that by making them part of his artworks.\n\n\n\n
Durix creates intriguing pieces known as \u201cpaintbrushes sculptures\u201d in which paintings emerge from giant paintbrushes. They are made in such a way that it appears just one swoop of the paintbrush was needed for an entire image to show up.\n\n\n\n
His paintbrushes sculptures feature an array of different subjects. Sometimes, they depict detailed and captivating depictions of Geishas, while other times, they feature pop-culture characters, animals, and even street art elements. \n\n\n\n
