Edouard Martinet is a French sculptor who uses discarded metal to craft beautiful sculptures of insects, birds, and fish. Despite being constructed from car parts, old cutlery, and other household objects that have served its purpose, Martinet\u2019s works are incredibly detailed and anatomically correct.\n\n\n\n
Most of Martinet\u2019s sculptures start as a sketch. From there, the artist goes through his impressive collection of metal parts to pick out the ones that fit perfectly or can be manipulated in order to bring his vision to life. Sometimes, it can take months or even years for him to finish a particular piece, as he prefers to wait until he finds the perfect part instead of making adjustments to his original idea.\n\n\n\n
