This new tradition worked wonders for his diet and helped him eat more veggies and fruits, so Macatangay decided to start sharing her creations with the world, hoping she’d help out other parents dealing with picky eaters.
“I get lots of people commenting asking me to teach them how I make the dishes that I do because they are facing the same issues. We all know how hard it is to raise a child who’s a picky eater and find things they will eat. People always say that I’ve inspired them but the truth is that they inspire me,” she told Mirror.
Macatangay’s plates are deeply rooted in popular culture and often pay homage to her son’s favorite cartoons. We’ve also seen her create food art inspired by many iconic film and TV characters, ranging from Wednesday Addams and Coraline to Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
