She embarked on an adventure of a lifetime in a converted van that she fixed up so she could explore every corner of the land of the rising sun.

From Vietnam to Thailand, Collette visited many different countries before getting the taste of van life, but Japan has always been her dream destination. Most tourists stick around in this country for a few weeks, but she knew this wouldn’t be enough to explore all the places on her bucket list, so she came up with an epic travel plan.

Collette bought an old van and decided to convert it into a camper that she could use to embark on an unforgettable road trip around Japan. She faced many challenges along the way and chronicled all the ups and downs of her journey on her TikTok and Instagram page @addy_road.

After a few short van trips, some rebuilding, and a lot of life changes, Collette finally hit the road in late 2022 and never looked back. Her Instagram page is now filled with fun videos that will help you explore both the major tourist attractions and hidden gems that Japan has in store.
